The various proclaimed “insiders” we’ve interacted with (online, in person, and at conferences) often have at least one Unbelievable Element in the mythos of the group they represent.

We don’t comment on whether or not these puzzle pieces are fact or fiction but we hope to point out the common Wild Card theme we’ve encountered in semi-secret organizations.

The point is all of these groups seem to gather up the threads of what we’ll call Alternative History (and Conspiracy Theories, verified and unverified) weaving a tapestry around their own story or agenda.

The Wild Card Element seems to be an essential piece of the puzzle for many faces of alternative movements.

Hypotheses - Wild Card Elements may serve as:

  • Disinformation puzzle pieces meant to create confusion.

  • Disinformation puzzle pieces meant to push some people away from the information [Disqualifier]. Then mainstreamers disregard the operation so that it can grow with less interference.

  • Puzzle pieces designed to bait and enroll people in with certain nonconformative belief systems.

  • Storylines fed to infowarrior figureheads by their superiors in a departmentalized manner. The figureheads believe these stories themselves—whether or not the narrative elements are true. This could be in order to ensure figurehead/agent belief in his or her own mission, solidifying response to a chain of command for a personality type that might otherwise go rogue.

  • Or Wild Card Elements could be true. Various alleged secret gov. program insiders have come out talking about time travel, for instance.
